As a Senior Clinical Study Researcher you will provide scientific and methodological clinical expertise in different phases of our research and innovation projects. With your solid experience in clinical study methodology and scientific skills, you will be responsible for translation the business needs into a relevant and fit for purpose study design, writing of the protocol and statistical analysis plan, interpretation and reporting of the study (results) in accordance with the clinical study plan, applicable legislation and Standard Operating Procedures. You will work in close collaboration with Scientists, CS Managers, Data Managers, Statisticians, category/brand representatives, as well as other stakeholders within Danone to ensure the right data is collected.Our new Senior Clinical Study Researcher will:

• Understand the scientific strategic roadmaps and execute this strategy through efficient project contribution.
• Translate business needs, existing clinical and literature data into a clinical study protocol.
• Be member of a multi-disciplinary clinical study team.
• Provide methodological/scientific support during all phases of the clinical study.
• Assess feasibility of the study protocol and be involved in the investigator selection process.
• Interpret results and write the clinical study report.
• Safeguard the quality of your studies.
• Liaise with doctors, scientists and health professionals.
• Build internal and external networks of Key Opinion Leaders/investigators/experts and other stakeholders.
• Supervise third parties if activities are outsourced.

You are passionate about making health differences and bringing clinical evidence to products and services. You have a university degree and/or PhD in life science or related scientific discipline and have profound experience in (international) clinical research in an academic setting or the (bio-) pharmaceutical industry. You have thorough scientific knowledge in study methodology and expertise concerning clinical research and literature data.In addition, you bring:

• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, legislation, SOPs and clinical study methodology and medical writing skills.
• Scientific expertise in biotics, fast moving consumer goods (or related area) is an advantage and/or you are willing and able to become familiar in this field.
• Demonstrated ability to build a network of Key Opinion Leaders/investigators/experts within specific area.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English for writing protocols, study documents, papers, reports and delivering presentations.
• Pragmatic attitude and be adaptable to the changing needs of the business.
• Like to work very precise and to solve complex challenges.
• Ability to think logically and analytically.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively.
