Job summaryA rare and exciting opportunity is available for an exceptional Nurse and Educator to join the Northumbria Health & Care Academy team. Working in partnership with Sunderland University. This will be to support the Trainee Nursing Associate Programme.Act as module lead and actively contribute to a variety of nursing modules across the Northumbria Health and Care Academy.Within this role you will support the delivery and continual development of the Undergraduate Nursing Associate provision and related studies. • 1st Level Registered Nurse with effective NMC registration/ Allied health professional with effective HPCP registration /1st Level Registered Midwife with effective NMC registration
• Educated to degree level in Nursing or a related subject.
• Postgraduate qualification in a related subject area (Masters study)
• Higher Education teaching qualification or working towards and completion will be within 12 months of approintment (e.g. PGCE)
• o Non Medical prescribing required for those teaching on programmes related to non medical prescribing

Desirable

• Higher Education Academy Fellowship status
• Professional Nursing Advocate
