Job summaryAn opportunity has arisen for a gynaecology fellowship based at University Hospital Dorset. The post is ideal for senior trainee or post CCT individuals who wish to train in or increase their exposure to more independent decision making. The post holder will work as a member of our team comprising of 24 consultants. They would take part in providing out of hours cover to our elective patients. There will also be opportunities to develop gynaecological skills such as outpatients hysteroscopy, colposcopy or gynaecological scanning. The post holder would be encouraged to partake in audit.Main duties of the jobJob planDay to day work would be based within the gynaecology team. This would include nights and weekends at a frequency of approximately 1:4.
