A Senior Clinical Fellowship is available for a highly motivated person to integrate into the Cognitive Neurology team of scientists and clinicians investigating:
- Brain mechanisms underlying memory and motivation in healthy people and
- Disorders of memory and motivation in patients with neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, vascular dementia / small vessel cerebrovascular disease.
The project provides an opportunity to work alongside colleagues in the Department of Neurology (John Radcliffe Hospital), Department of Experimental Psychology and the Wellcome Trust Centre for Integrative Neuroscience.
The post holder will be a key member of a research group with responsibility for carrying out research in patients and healthy people. They will be expected to provide guidance to less clinically experienced members of the research group, including junior clinical research fellows, research assistants and students.
The Fellow will be expected to register for a DPhil degree.
The successful candidate will have completed their Neurology training, hold a medical degree, and hold full GMC registration. Research experience in Cognitive Neurology is desirable.
