The Global Procurement Organization (GPO) unites all SAP procurement units and enhances SAP’s performance through global category strategies, leveraged purchasing power, sustainable savings, and strong compliance. Advanced technologies such as AI and data-driven insights support efficient, transparent, and innovative procurement processes.

The Professional Services Category Team, part of GPO, partners closely with key stakeholders to define and execute global sourcing strategies and governance. The team is fully accountable for sourcing across Professional Services, including Financial, Legal, Strategy & Business Consulting, and HR Services.

About the role

Come join our Professional Services team in SAP’s Global Procurement Organization (GPO). In this role, you will contribute to strategic procurement initiatives, collaborate closely with business stakeholders, and help deliver measurable value while ensuring compliant and efficient procurement processes. You will also support the adoption of innovative procurement approaches, including the use of AI-enabled tools and data analytics to improve sourcing decisions, supplier insights, and process efficiency.

This role is well suited for professionals who enjoy working in complex, collaborative environments and want to further develop their procurement expertise within a global organization.

What you’ll do

-Support sourcing and procurement activities across the Professional Services area.
-Manage end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFX processes, negotiations, and contracting.
-Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into clear procurement requirements.
-Manage supplier lifecycles, including onboarding, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement.
-Contribute to market analysis and benchmarking within the Professional Services supplier landscape.
-Ensure compliance with procurement policies and the end-to-end Source-to-Pay process.
 

What you bring

-5+ years of relevant procurement experience, ideally within Professional Services category, indirect spend.
-Experience running RFX processes, negotiations, and contract management.
-Fluency in English verbally & written.
-University degree in business, economics, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.

-Structured and analytical approach to problem solving.
-Deep understanding of supplier markets and value-drivers within Professional Services category
-Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international environments.
-Ability and optimize AI technologies, i.e.. generative AI and AI-driven decision
making.
-Learning agility and comfort navigating change.
-Procurement or supply-chain certification (or equivalent experience).
-Structured decision-making in complex, global environments.
