The Role

Working within Supply Chain and Procurement, this role will lead the end-to-end procurement activity for the Information Technology category. Project management is the key part of the sourcing process and you will work largely without the need for guidance – business partnering with key stakeholders at all levels of our business.

You will

  • Develop, implement and lead category sourcing strategy for IT, managing the ongoing commercial, operational, quality and risk management requirements within their category.

  • Lead and execute tendering, negotiating, contracting and contract management activities on significant spend areas within their category. Look to lead on SRM (supplier relationship management) with key agencies to ensure best service and value is delivered.

  • Function as a Procurement Business partner for projects and operational areas as an integral stakeholder, leading the change within CUK.

  • CUK is undertaking substantial transformational change within its technological landscape over the next 3 to 5 years, and procurement will be an integral part in helping to deliver these changes.

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK08 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis with hybrid working at least 3 days in our Southampton office.

About You

  • Excellent negotiating skills drawing up and dealing with contracts of varying values and complexities, and managing supplier Service Level Agreements

  • Concise and influential communicator, able to discuss complex issues with clarity and credibility to a cross functional audience of varied experience

  • Good knowledge of purchasing systems, processes and contractual experience.

  • Good/up to date knowledge of MS-Office with strong excel skills
