If you have the needed technical experience and personal drive to succeed in a multinational environment, then this is your chance to become part of one of our agile teams: Global AVEVA PI or POInT.Joining Global AVEVA PI (formerly OSIsoft PI System) you will become an SME in Global PI, supporting implementation. AVEVA PI system, is an industry-leading data management solution built specifically to collect and store data from any location and source and rapidly extract the insights we need to optimize your business – all in a no-code, flexible environment.Alternatively, you can become part of our POInT Agile team. POInT is a global platform that collects data in real-time from various production lines and makes data easily accessible to calculate Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) in Novo Nordisk. The platform makes data easily accessible to develop several front-end Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) products to help improve our production processes. Key technologies used are Kepware, Azure, SQL and Alteryx/Tableau.Your main responsibilities will include:Leading design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex automated systems, including analysis, testing, and overseeing large manufacturing operations.Responsibility for engineering operations, ensuring that engineering operations are completed on-time and as per the set goals.Exploring and implementing new ways to automate systems, designing, and testing automation equipment and processes.Identifying quality issues, writing reports, and eliminating defects and errors.Developing and maintaining automation standards and specifications.Maintaining and managing automation-related software licenses, and service level agreements.We are currently looking for two Automation Engineers, with a possibility of one of them becoming a Senior position.Which competencies to bring?
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. To succeed in the role, you have a proven track record in most of the following:Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, electrical, or another relevant field, combined with many years of experience within one or more automation discipline.Experience with automated production systems in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (GMP/GXP), as well as validation experience.Knowledge and years of experience working with PLC technology.Knowledge and years of experience working with SCADA systems, in particular System Platform.Strong project participation skills will be considered an asset, regardless of you being part of the operations team or the large project.You have experience in C# programming and building SQL queries. Python experience will be an advantage.On personal level, you are passionate, self-organised, a team player, and you strive for continuous improvement. You will be part of Data Enablers department within PS Data Foundation. Data Enablers department is responsible for continuously developing, scaling, and maintaining global production data platforms. These data platforms are designed to efficiently extract and standardize data from both production lines and IT/OT systems used in production processes. In Data Foundation, we strive to empower our colleagues in Novo Nordisk Product Supply to make data-driven decisions, continuously digitalize, and improve manufacturing processes. The team is very diverse both in terms of capabilities and background, with roles spanning from product owners, scrum masters, architects to hands-on data engineers and developers, and people from 15 different nationalities.
