Senior Audio Software Product Owner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Audio Software Product Owner to steer the development of advanced audio software and DSP within a SAFe environment.As a Product Owner, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, architects, and other stakeholders. You will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer by ensuring the enhancement of the audio software in our meeting room systems. You will be the voice of the team, translating complex requirements into actionable user stories, prioritizing features and ensuring timely and quality deliveries as part of our Video Systems Development Centre based in Ballerup, Denmark.The team you will be part of:You will report to the Audio Embedded Software Manager in EMEA and be part of a team of 15+ audio software developers spread across 2 scrum teams based in Denmark, Bulgaria and UK.Your team owns the accountability for delivering products on time, cost, scope and quality, in full alignment with the Video Systems Division and roadmaps and works closely with the Video Business Unit to provide the “innovation muscle” and maximize growth.Your contribution is appreciated, and your key areas of responsibilities will be:Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision for the audio software in our meeting room systems, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company goals.Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the overall strategy and roadmap. Break down epics into manageable user stories and features.Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.SAFe Leadership: Promote product development and effiiciency in a SAFe environment, participating in Program Increment (PI) planning, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.Feature Definition & Roadmap: Define features and capabilities for the Audio software and DSP in our meeting room systems, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability. Develop and maintain a detailed roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall program.User Story Development: Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements. Collaborate with the development team to clarify and refine stories throughout the development cycle.Quality Assurance & Testing: Work with QA teams to ensure features are tested thoroughly, and acceptance criteria are met. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide final sign-off on product releases.To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Audio Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a software development environment.Proven experience in consumer product development, especially video or multimedia systems would be of high benefit.Strong understanding of real-time software, audio DSP, and best practices in embedded software development.Proficient in Agile approaches, including SAFe, with a history of effectively overseeing complex cross collaboration projects.Leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide multiple stakeholders.Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills.Ability to examine complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and direct teams to develop creative, scalable solutions.We encourage you to applyEven if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we gladly receive your application if you think you have transferrable skills.
