The Opportunity
Are you a passionate electronics engineer with a background in signal processing and control theory, and a strong interest in audio and Class-D amplifier applications? If so, we are looking for you to join our client’s talented application engineering team!

The Role
In this position, you’ll play a key role in designing and implementing innovative audio applications using our client’s controller and power ICs. You’ll leverage your expertise to support customers by devising and implementing solutions for their specific challenges, such as reducing PCB size, lowering costs, improving audio performance, and increasing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement solutions for customer challenges related to audio applications (e.g., size reduction, cost optimization, performance improvement).
– Design control loops using Matlab/Simulink.
– Develop DSP code and algorithms for Class-D amplifiers.
– Design new software functionalities for Class-D amplifiers.
– Implement new power stages (integrated or discrete H-bridges).
– Design PCBs (optional) to support new application ideas and implementations.
– Develop measurement setups to validate new applications and algorithms.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
– Strong understanding of analog/power electronics with a keen interest in signal processing, control loop design, and measurements.
– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English (Dutch fluency a plus).
– Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues on new applications.
– Proven ability to independently develop and implement solutions.

Desired Skills:
– Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink.
– Knowledge of analog circuit design and simulations.
– Solid understanding of digital filters and signal processing.
– Familiarity with control theory principles.
– Practical skills in measurements (a plus).
– PCB design experience with Altium (a plus).
