Description Overview

The Senior Analyst-PowerBI plays a pivotal role in transforming financial and operational data into actionable insights through advanced Power BI solutions. This position supports Finance and other key business functions by designing intuitive dashboards, performing in-depth analysis, and driving data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with technical expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Scope of the Role

-Dashboard Development & Data Modeling

-Design and develop scalable, high-performance Power BI dashboards tailored to Finance and cross-functional teams.
-Build robust data models using DAX and Power Query (M) that support dynamic reporting and self-service analytics.
-Stakeholder Collaboration

-Partner with FP&A and other business units to gather requirements and translate them into impactful visualizations.
-Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote data literacy and self-service capabilities.
-Financial Analysis & Reporting
type=”circle”-
-Conduct deep-dive financial analyses to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
-Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives with tailored reporting solutions.
-Automation & Process Improvement

-Streamline data pipelines by automating data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
-Implement governance and documentation standards to ensure data integrity and reproducibility.
-Ad-Hoc & Executive Reporting

-Deliver timely, accurate ad-hoc reports and insights for executive presentations and strategic projects.
-Maintain flexibility to pivot quickly based on evolving business needs.

Experience Required

-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
-2–5 years of experience in financial reporting and dashboard development using Power BI.
-Experience with SQL, Python, or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
-Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
