Senior Analyst – Strategic Finance

The Strategic Finance team at Lundbeck is responsible for spearheading strategic projects with stakeholders in Finance and across Lundbeck and de
livering relevant and insightful analyses to the Senior and Executive Management. This role also provides a great opportunity to learn about all business functions of a pharmaceutical company and to work with colleagues across all parts of the business.

Your new role

In the role, you can expect to:

-Work on our strategic deliverables, including the strategic 10-year long-term plan
-Participate in projects that shape the future of our company (i.e. assess Business Development initiatives, capital allocation and value creation, dynamic planning and scenarios and others)
-Be responsible for generation of actionable insights by understanding and assessing the underlying value drivers of our business
-Work on ad hoc analyses and scenarios to support strategic decision making
-Develop presentations for Senior and Executive Management

As our Senior Analyst you will be part of the Strategic Finance team consisting of 4 team members including you. Strategic Finance is part of broader FP&A and Commercial Finance team in the Group Finance department.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
What you bring to the team

You have a couple of years of experience from a similar role or management consulting focusing on financial analysis. You are experienced in financial modeling, creating presentations and communicating with senior stakeholders. As a person, you are a collaborator who enjoys solving problems and aims for continuous improvement. You are also result-oriented with attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced and changing environment delivering multiple tasks at the same time.
We imagine that you also have:

-A MSc Degree in Finance, business, or other relevant academic degree
-Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
-Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
-Not afraid to navigate and handle ambiguous situations
-Fluency in English (written and spoken)
