About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior RFIC Design Engineer to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) for IPs and SoCs. In this role, you will define, design, and verify complex RF circuits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. You will work on advanced wireless technologies including 4G, 5G, WLAN, Bluetooth, and GPS, contributing to next-generation communication systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, design, and develop complex RFICs within IPs and SoCs.
• Create and execute verification test plans for RF validation.
• Conduct transistor-level feasibility analysis and define floorplans and layouts for RF circuit architectures.
• Develop test benches, verify, and debug designs to meet specifications.
• Review system specifications and design plans for compliance with codes, standards, and customer needs.
• Design new product concepts and prototypes, including detailed circuit drawings.
• Perform radio signal path analysis and transistor-level design for transceivers and RFIC blocks.
• Apply expertise in electromagnetic theory, communication theory, RF system analysis, and RF test equipment to resolve issues and conduct RF verification.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in analog and mixed-signal design, with a strong focus on ADC and DAC.
• Proficiency in mixed-signal design validation and layout analysis for deep sub-micron technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid understanding of sub-micron device physics and experience in low-voltage CMOS RFIC design.
• Basic knowledge of 5G system architecture and concepts.

Additional Requirements

Experience may be gained through a combination of industry roles, internships, academic research, and coursework.

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.

Prior to entering an employment agreement, the employee will be asked to provide all documents and references to verify any service times of prior employment. Based on provided documents the appropriate number of service years will be credited as prior employment.
