Senior Aftermarket Sales Engineer

Grundfos Italy is seeking an experienced Aftermarket Sales Engineer to join its Grundfos Service & Solutions team. The successful candidate will work closely with sales colleagues, managers and other internal stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience, in order to develop and grow Grundfos aftermarket, service and solutions business.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Meet Customers and internal stakeholders in order to achieve sales targets
  • Develop a business model in aftermarket, linked to sustainability and circularity
  • Develop close relationship with existing sales force, in order to reach out and add value to existing customers
  • Open new channels and customers accounts in order to propose specific solutions in Grundfos aftermarket business
  • Identify potential customers, stakeholders and new markets for specific solutions selling
  • Conduct customer prospecting calls to qualify opportunities
  • Engage with customers, listen to their needs and tailor Grundfos’ value proposition
  • Representing Grundfos at events, trade fairs and customer visits
  • Be the reference point in the organization for specific solutions in aftermarket business

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree or commensurate experience preferred and minimum 5 years’ experience selling into Aftermarket sales
  • Very good communication skills – written and verbal. Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Hunter mentality with experience in a consultative selling approach
  • Strong technical understanding, preferably in pump market (or electromechanical – electronic world)
  • Aftermarket business and service world deep understanding
  • Basic finance knowledge
  • Willing to travel throughout Italy
  • Entrepreneurial skills
