Senior Actuary (f/m/d)

Future fields of activity:
- Autonomous calculation of P&C claims reserves with actuarial methods within IFRS17 and Solvency II
- Autonomous calculation within the stochastic internal solvency model of Allianz Group (P&C premium and reserve risk)
- KPI and data driven discussion with other divisions, esp. claims management, portfolio management and reinsurance
- Regular preparation of a management report on the reserve situation incl. presentation and discussion in the Board of Management
- Regular monitoring of development and profitability of P&C portfolios and derivation of action fields, preparation of management information for business steering
- Support of the planning process by preparation of claims forecasts considering future trends and portfolio measures and alignment with portfolio and claims experts
- Autonomous execution of actuarial analysis on products, tariffs and portfolio in P&C
- Strategic development of methods, models and P&C applications (e.g. new reserving methods, new reporting tools,…)
- Cross-functional projects within Allianz Group
Our requirements:
- Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics or a comparable studies
- Practical experience in the P&C reserving and/or risk modeling
- Ideally knowledge of result drivers in insurance (local GAAP, IFRS and MVBS) and corresponding KPIs
- Practical experience with data management (DWH), preferably SAS- and/or SQL; experience with data analytics and machine learning of advantage
- Advanced knowledge of MS-applications and a programming language (VBA, R, Python)
- Willingness to learn and develop and grow with new challenges (growth mindset), engagement and team work
- Entrepreneurship and practical thinking
- Ability to communicate and present results (English C1 and in addition preferably German)

Gross annual salary: EUR 75,000 (willingness to overpay depending on qualifications)
