Responsibilities

• Dive into the world of accounting with the freedom to craft innovative accounting concepts and policies aligned with both German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS standards.

• Take the reins in producing monthly and annual financial statements, showcasing your mastery in balance sheets, income statements (including comprehensive notes), and the statement of financial position.

• Thrive in a collaborative environment, where you’ll seamlessly integrate with various departments like Finance/Treasury, Controlling, Tax, HR, and IT, acting as the go-to person for our external auditors.

• Unleash your potential by contributing to exciting projects, including the implementation of cutting-edge technologies like SAP S/4 HANA.

• Be the problem-solver extraordinaire, providing adept responses to internal inquiries and fostering strong relationships with external stakeholders.

• Elevate our Group Tax & Treasury department with your expertise in direct and indirect taxes, German wage tax, and administrative prowess.

Experience

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, ideally with a specialization in accounting, finance, or possess an equivalent qualification coupled with hands-on experience as a certified accountant under German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, or a similar certification such as a tax specialist.

• Showcase your track record of navigating financial statements and collaborating seamlessly with auditors.

• Bring several years of experience to the table, whether it’s in the realms of financial accounting or within the dynamic environment of an auditing firm.

• Flex your skills in SAP (S/4 HANA), demonstrating your ability to adapt to and leverage cutting-edge technologies.

• Excel not only in MS Office but also in conceptual thinking, independence, a drive for innovation, and a keen eye for process optimization.

• Fluent in both German (advantage) and English, you seamlessly navigate between languages, facilitating effective communication across borders and departments.
