About the roleAs a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the BYD Italy’s daily operations of our accounts receivable and payable, BYD HQ Reporting Package, ad-hoc financial report request upon request from BYD HQ, support in invoicing activities when necessary.This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.You will play a critical role in supporting our financial infrastructure, improving our processes, and ensuring financial stability.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable Management:

• Verify AR WP Data Correctness: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Accounts Receivable Working Papers.
• Maintain and Monitor Credit Limits of Dealers: Regularly review and adjust credit limits based on dealers’ financial health and transaction history.
• Monitor Incoming Payments of Dealers and Financial Partner: Track and report on the timeliness and completeness of payments from dealers and financial partners.
• Credit Screening and Monitoring of Dealers: Conduct initial and ongoing credit assessments to evaluate the creditworthiness of dealers.
• Weekly AR Update to Finance Manager: Provide comprehensive weekly reports on Accounts Receivable status to the Finance Manager.

Accounts Payable Management:

• Daily Monitoring of Incoming Vendor Invoices on E-Invoicing Platform: Ensure all incoming invoices are captured and processed correctly on the electronic invoicing platform.
• Drafting Payment Arrangements According to Payment Deadlines of E-Invoicing: Prepare and manage payment schedules to meet e-invoicing deadlines effectively.
• Supplier Master Data Management: Handle tasks such as vendor onboarding and maintaining up-to-date vendor information.

Month-End Closing Support:

• Adherence to Month-End Reporting WP: Compile and review month-end reporting work papers strictly according to the Finance Manager’s instructions and BYD Italy’s standards.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations between bank statements and company records to ensure accuracy.
• Preparation of Monthly Reporting Package: Assemble the monthly financial reports, including the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
• Inbound and Outbound Cashflow Reclassification: Reclassify cash flows in accordance with headquarters’ standards.
• Respond to Ad-hoc Requests from HQ: Address on-demand accounting and finance-related inquiries and requests from the corporate headquarters.

Qualifications:

• BsC or MsC in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in AR-AP role in a Multinational Company
• Strong understanding of ITA GAAP, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
• Chinese & Italian are mandatory, and in MS Office.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
