SEND TeacherSEND Teacher:LiverpoolMilk Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team. This role is within a SEND school who prides itself on providing a welcoming and purposeful environment where young people can flourish and where their needs and aspirations are met.This role will require you to work on a full time basis from 8:30 – 15:30 and will allow you to earn between £140 and £210 per day depending on your M Scale!Roles and responsibilities as a SEND Teacher :
- Create engaging lesson plans and deliver dynamic teaching sessions
- Implement special education strategies to cater to diverse learning needs
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Utilise proofreading skills to assess students’ work and provide constructive feedback
- Offer childcare services with a focus on nurturing and development
- Mentor and guide students through their educational journey
Qualifications and non-negotiables for a SEND Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong behaviour management skills to create a positive classroom environment
- Specialisation in special education or relevant field
- Proficiency in maths and ability to teach mathematical concepts effectively
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques for language enhancement
- Excellent proofreading abilities for assessing student work
