We are actively seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Secondary School in Poole. This role involves working one-on-one with a student in the school’s SEN provision. The student is wheelchair-bound, has Autism, and is currently working at a Key Stage 1 level. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing personalised support to aid the student’s academic progress.
- Assisting with Personal Care needs, ensuring the student’s comfort and dignity.
- Collaborating with the SEN team to implement effective support strategies.
- Creating an inclusive environment that encourages the student’s participation in school activities.
Who We’re Looking For
- Specialist Experience: Background in SEN, particularly Autism and Personal Care.
- Ideal Candidates: Those with a background in Care or experience in specialist SEN provisions.
- Attributes: Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a positive impact on young lives.
- Flexibility: Available to work full-time or part-time, depending on your schedule.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
