Are you ready to give some valuable input to a child’s development? Are you familiar with supporting Children with Special Needs?We have the perfect role for you!We are looking for a teaching Assistants to work in a Primary and Secondary Special Needs School in Southampton. This will be a permanent role to start ASAP.You will enable academic progress for pupils in a classroom environment and provide the support they need to feel happy, secure and comfortable whilst pushing them to succeed and excel expectations. You will work with pupils who require additional support, working with them to manage their behaviour as well as ensuring that they successfully achieve the desired outcomes of the day. The role will be varied, also providing support on a 1:1 and small group basis; ensuring that all pupils are meeting curriculum standards.

The class are reported to have low need, and would benefit from someone friendly and energetic, someone the children can relate to and build a happy relationship with.The school requires staff who have previous experience of providing this support but often find that those with Degrees in education Studies and Previous care assistants get on well in these roles.Hours will be 08.45 – 15.30 Monday to Friday.For more information, please apply for this role and I will be in touch.
