Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Darwen, Lancashire
Salary: £11.72 – £12.78 per hour (£20,941.30 – £22,835.30 actual salary) depending on experience

*Assist in the delivery of daily lessons and educational activities designed to meet the individual needs of SEN students.
*Support the assessment of student progress and contribute to the preparation of individual learning plans.
*Facilitate social integration and participation in school activities.
*Provide one-to-one support to students requiring additional assistance with school tasks.
*Assist with the management of classroom behaviour, maintaining a calm and safe learning environment.
*Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote student welfare.
*Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your own understanding of SEN best practices.Requirements:
*NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification.
*Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
*Strong understanding of the educational and emotional needs of children with diverse learning disabilities.
*Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with students, staff, and parents.
*A proactive, compassionate, and patient approach with the ability to engage children positively.
*Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of special education.
