As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of students with special needs. Responsibilities:
* Provide personalised support to students, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual learning needs.
* Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) to ensure tailored learning experiences.
* Support classroom management and contribute to maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere.
* Establish effective communication channels with parents, teachers, and specialists to foster a collaborative approach to student support.
* Prepare and adjust teaching materials to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
Essential Requirements:
* Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autism/ADHD experience).
* Strong skills in behaviour management.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Compassionate and empathetic demeanour.
* Dedication to safeguarding children.
* An active DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
