You will also have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of students across Bristol, and set them up for future success.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILSLocation: BristolPosition: SEND Teaching AssistantType of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, 1:1 careStart Date: ImmediateRate of pay : £95 – £125 p/d, subject to assignmentHours: 08:30 – 16:00EXPERIENCEDesirable:*Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)*Experience of working with various SEND conditions*Experience of inclusive classroom practice*Understanding how to fully support the teacher in the classroom*Previous experience of supporting learning using a range of strategies, both with groups and on a 1:1 basisTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold right to work in the UKHold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related referencesOTHERIf you would like to be considered for any primary teaching roles, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
