Salary: GBP 90 – 110(Based on Experience)
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Open Hours: 8:30am to 4:00pmAbout the school:The SEN school supports students with SEMH needs through a highly adapted curriculum that’s been developed to meet the wide range of abilities and aspirations of our pupils. They aim to support children and families at Fern House School to gain an understanding of the importance of a holistic approach, balanced by our strong curriculum and our therapeutic opportunities.About the role:The ideal candidate will have a passion for inclusivity and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds, young people with Mental Health difficulties or those that struggle with social and emotional interactions. An experience Teaching Assistant or Youth Worker.Requirements:

  • Relevant certificates or qualifications
  • Strong academic background
  • Experience teaching or supporting SEN, preferably SEMH
  • Knowledge of tharapeutic techniques or mental health procedures and disorders
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Up to date safeguarding certificate and Enhanced DBS on the Update
  • Right to work in the UK
