A leading recruitment agency is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 1:1 with students with SEN in schools across Bristol and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners while gaining valuable experience in an educational setting.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for students with SEN in the classroom.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans.
• Offer emotional and behavioural support to students as needed.
• Work closely with teachers to ensure students’ needs are met.
• Promote independence and confidence in students’ learning.
• Support the delivery of lessons and assist with classroom management.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a classroom environment, ideally as an LSA or teaching assistant.
• Experience working with children with SEN (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting students.
• A DBS check or willingness to undergo one (required for working in schools).
• Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
