SEN Teacher | Bermondsey | Alternative Provision | KS3 to KS4 | September Start | Permanent Job RoleSEN Teacher required for permanent opportunity to start in January (ASAP) at an alternative provision in Bermondsey.We are looking for a confident classroom practitioner who can take charge of a small classes from KS2 up to KS4. The provision caters for students with behavioural and emotional difficulties.

• Take charge of a team of teaching assistants

• Pastoral responsibilities for students with severe barriers to learning

• Work with the lead teacher in designing and delivering a curriculum within your specialist subject KS2-KS4

• Developing and maintaining schemes of work across subjects

Applicants should be experienced teaching students with behavioural difficulties within a mainstream school, special school, PRU or alternative provision. You should also have some knowledge of strategies for SEN in the secondary phase.The role would suit an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to progress their career working in small classes with students with barrier to learning.Benefits of the role include:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
