Join Our Team at Tradewind as a SEN Teacher!Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join a SEND School based in Liverpool.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support student learning and development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in SEN education.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with SEN, particularly in a secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
To be considered for this position you will:
– have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
– Be a committed professional
– Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
