We employ over 200 highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic employees.As Security Officer, you will be part of the Human Resources team and responsible for supervising and coordinating daily security activities at the two sites (Zaventem/Steenokkerzeel). You contribute to the effective implementation of security protocols and procedures to ensure the protection of personnel, property and information.
You report directly to the HR Director and provide regular updates on security issues, incidents and the implementation of security initiatives.Your role within the team:

  • Access Control Management

You participate in access control management using a computerized system, primarily responsible for creating and assigning standard access profiles. In collaboration with the security teams, you ensure that only authorized individuals have access to the appropriate areas according to their defined access profiles;

  • Camera Security:

You are responsible for camera surveillance at the sites, including managing and monitoring video surveillance systems, including verifying their proper functioning;

  • Supervision of Security Staff

As a security officer you oversee the G4S security personnel working at the sites. You conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development on company guidelines and procedures;

  • Translation of Security Standards and Policies:

Together with the HR Manager you ensure that the Group’s security standards and policies are translated into practical guidelines at the local level. You also collaborate with facility management to develop local security policies;

  • Collaboration with External Partners

You closely collaborate with external partners such as G4S, government agencies and security services to ensure site security and compliance with legal requirements and regulations in the field of security;

  • Risk Management:

You regularly conduct risk analyses to identify and evaluate potential threats. Based on this, you proactively develop strategies and measures to minimize risks and strengthen site security;

  • Emergency Planning and Response:

You contribute to the development and implementation of emergency plans and procedures.Candidate skills & requirementsYour profile:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a production environment.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in data protection, privacy legislation and security practices are a must.
  • You have experience in identifying security risks and implementing appropriate security measures.
  • Capable of accurately analyzing and structure information and have the ability to convey complex information in a simple and understandable way.
  • You have a proactive and practical approach of identifying and solving security issues.
  • Good command of French, English and Dutch.
