We are looking for a talented and dynamic Network & Security Engineer to join our innovative organization.Oliver James is looking for someone who wants to learn and be proactive with at least a first newtorking experience, ready to dive into security.About the Role:Be a key contributor to sensible document production, shaping secure and efficient infrastructure.Hybrid position combining networking and security, reporting to an agile, forward-thinking team.Join an international environment where English is the working language.What You Will Do:Manage firewalls and network rules, including Cloudflare solutions.Handle data center virtualization and operations (VMWare, Linux servers).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance secure systems. * No support to users, you will be in touch with specialized IT teams at the client’s, service delivery managers and project managersPerform operational security tasks, including firewall management, sometimes switching, and for 5% of the time : server racking.What You Bring:2+ years of experience in networking or IT security.Solid foundation in Cisco technologies, firewalling, and switching.Proficiency in Windows Server management (Active Directory, disk extension).Familiarity with IPS/IDS and high-level WAF management.A proactive, hands-on attitude with the ability to adapt to operational challenges.Fluent in English to collaborate effectively in an international team, French and Dutch ar a plus * You need to be willing to pass a national security clearance and screening.Perks & Benefits:Competitive salary an car included.On-call rotation, with additional compensation.Access to cutting-edge tools and technologies within a secure and growth-oriented environment.Location:Brussels-areaWhy This Role?
