We are looking for a committed professional to join us as PAM Security Engineer in our Identity and Access Management Engineering team – part of Swiss Re’s front-line Security Team.About the ProgrammeWe are looking for graduates with strong interpersonal skills, who are eager to learn, broaden their knowledge and expertise and want to make a difference. As the Security Engineer, you’ll own the implementations of innovations for our corporate security tools such as malware protection and email sandbox. What’s more, you’ll be working in a hybrid setup, perfectly balancing work from home and the office premises.About the teamThe Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re. We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, corporate security, governance, operational resilience, risk and compliance. We define and advance the company’s security strategy. As a part of a wider company Security Team, the Cyber Defence Engineering team has the mission to protect Swiss Re by detecting and responding to cyber threats. We’re looking for an experienced security engineer who can deploy, maintain, and improve security tools to support the cyber defence operations activities.In your role, you will…

- Be responsible for security products such as Malware Analysis, Phishing Protection or Threat Intelligence Platform
- Assess and implement new security features, configurations, and security products in the organisation • Align with Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and other relevant teams to achieve defined objectives and key results
- Foster sound DevSecOps practices to continuously develop, maintain, and improve products
- Continuously learn and expand knowledge of information security best practices

- What we need from you
o Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of cybersecurity operations as an enabler of business performance
o Experience in hands-on maintainance and improvements of cyber security products in complex corporate environments o The ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders effectively – from cybersecurity analysts to threat intelligence experts
o A track record of successful delivery in rolling out new security solutions to enhance the company’s protection
o A high level of integrity, result-oriented approach, and composure under pressure
o Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
o Knowledge of and proven skills in configuring/administrating cyber security services
o Experience with cloud native technologies and environments
- Nice-to-have
o Experience in Python development in complex corporate environments
o Experience working as a security analyst or incident responder (in a SOC/CSIRT/on-call setup)
o Knowledge of agile working methodologies
o Knowledge of detection rule development, covering tools (such as SIEM, EDRs) and industry frameworks (such as MITRE ATT&CK®)Please note that the application process will be open until beginning of November.
