As a SOC Analyst, you play a crucial role in our team, closely collaborating with SOC Consultants, Developers, and Engineers. Your expertise is essential for identifying and mitigating risks for our clients, ensuring the highest standards of security monitoring and response.As a SOC Analyst, you have a helicopter view of detection, triage, analysis, and response within our Cyber Defense Center.Your responsibilities include:
- Providing support to first-line analysts and acting as an escalation point for high-impact incidents.
- Managing operational client contact, informing clients about the quality and progress of operations in two-way conversations.
- Conducting quality controls to ensure the highest standards in analysis, alerts, and reports to clients.
- Facilitating seamless communication and process improvements between different teams within the Cyber Defense Center.
- Proactively providing new detective/preventive advice based on current threats and developments.
- Coaching and mentoring new employees to build a competent team.
- Optimizing collaboration between departments within the Cyber Defense Center.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring effective execution of Security Monitoring services.
- Providing advisory roles to clients and acting as a liaison between different teams within the Cyber Defense Center.
- Daily involvement in supporting first-line analysts and handling escalations of incidents.
- Participating in client meetings for operational updates and quality assurance discussions.
- Performing quality controls on analyses and reports.
- Identifying and implementing technical and procedural improvements within the Cyber Defense Center.
Required Competencies:
- Completed higher vocational education.
- Strong team-building skills and leadership qualities.
- In-depth knowledge of processes and principles of security operations centers.
- Experience in detection, triage, analysis, and response in a SOC environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interactions with clients.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
