Job descriptionSecondary Teaching Assistant – Braintree – Starting ASAPABOUT THE SCHOOLProspero Teaching is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a Secondary school in the Braintree area.Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Braintree Area
• Position – Teaching Assistant
• Type of work – Teaching Assistant Secondary
• Contract or position start date – September Start
• Duration / Likely Duration – ASAP

• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time/part time – Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £90 per day
• Hours – 8:20 am – 15:30pm : 5 days a week

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience of working in a support role in primary schools
• GCSE English and Maths grade ‘C’
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
