Job Advert: Secondary Teaching Assistant – Immediate StartWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant mainstream secondary school community.This is a full-time, term-time only position , working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM .The role is temporary to permanent , offering the opportunity for a long-term position. £84 per day.As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), either working one-to-one with a young person or supporting the wider classroom environment. This rewarding role requires a proactive, adaptable, and compassionate individual who thrives in a dynamic school setting.Key Responsibilities
- Supporting students with SEND to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
- Assisting in classroom activities under the guidance of the teacher.
- Managing behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Encouraging student independence while providing appropriate support.
- Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
