What you’ll do

Join us for a unique internship within our Performance & Technology (P&T) and Turnaround & Restructuring Services (TRS) teams, designed to offer MBA students hands-on experience in strategic consulting and business transformation. This opportunity allows you to work side-by-side with industry experts, tackling high-stakes, high-impact situations and helping clients achieve significant improvements in business performance.

As a summer intern in either the P&T or TRS team, you will engage in a variety of projects across industries, gaining experience in:

• Performance & Technology: Focusing on revenue growth, profit improvement, cash management, digital enablement, and organizational effectiveness for companies in operations, automotive, aerospace and defense, retail, consumer goods, and TMT (Technology, Media, Telecommunications).
• Turnaround & Restructuring Services: Working on financial/operational restructuring, cash flow modeling, cost reduction programs, balance sheet restructuring, and supporting roles such as the Chief Restructuring Officer.

You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality work across multiple workstreams, often under tight deadlines, and collaborating closely with our team and client stakeholders.

We are currently looking for MBA students interested in a summer internship role within our team in Milan

What you’ll need

• A minimum of three to five years of relevant financial/operational restructuring experience gained in consulting, private equity, banking or industry.
• MBA; Master’s degree with evidence of strong academic success. Degree(s) in Business, Finance (or foreign equivalent), Engineering preferable.
• Three to five years of experience in consulting, private equity, banking, or industry, with a focus on operational, financial restructuring, or due diligence.
• Proven analytical and financial modeling skills, with expertise in financial statements and cash flow analysis.
• Experience with cost reduction, working capital management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage relationships with clients and C-suite stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Italian; additional language skills are a plus.
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours and willingness to travel based on project requirements.Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, with the high-energy, flexibility and adaptability required to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English and Italian is essential; knowledge of an additional language would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
• Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment.
