Job Description

Join our Vienna-based team and get involved in developing and executing high-quality analytical testing strategies. You’ll work hands-on with advanced systems like TECAN and HPLC, contributing to pharmaceutical innovation and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot ELISA methods using the TECAN system
• Perform in-process sample testing and activity-based assays
• Analyze of process development samples via HPLC and other analytical platforms
• Prepare and review scientific documentation (validation protocols, reports) in English
• Conduct secondary reviews of analytical data (ELISA, HPLC, electrophoresis, protein/activity assays)
• Maintain and oversee TECAN instrumentation
• Support inventory and asset database management

Qualifications

What You Bring

We’re looking for a curious, collaborative, and detail-oriented scientist ready to thrive in a dynamic, international setting.

Qualifications:

• Degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Analytical Sciences, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Food Chemistry
• Experience in regulated lab environments (pharma or biotech preferred)
• Proficiency in ELISA, HPLC, and electrophoresis techniques
• Hands-on experience with TECAN systems
• Strong problem-solving and method troubleshooting skills
• Excellent scientific writing and documentation abilities
• Independent planning and communication skills (PowerPoint, reports, protocols)
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
• A collaborative mindset and openness to working across international teams
