Justteachers is supporting a Secondary School in Leeds in the appointment of a Science Teacher for October 2024. The aim is to deliver outstanding teaching and learning of Science and therefore help pupils achieve excellent academic results, and be a role-model/impact the academy more widely. They want a teacher who can design an engaging and challenging Science curriculum that inspires children to appreciate the subject and its application.This role is suitable for both experienced teacher as well as Early Career Teachers, and they are committed to developing and supporting teachers.The ideal candidate will:

• Have excellent classroom teacher with the ability to reflect on lessons and continually improve their own practice.
• Have effective and systematic behaviour management, with clear boundaries, sanctions, praise and rewards.
• Think strategically about classroom practice and tailoring lessons to pupils needs.
• Understand and interpret complex pupil data to drive lesson planning and pupil attainment.
