Science TeacherLocation: Market HarboroughStart Date: January 2025Contract Type: Long TermSalary Scale: £162.31-£251.72 per day (Depending on experience)GSL Education are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Market Harborough. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons to students, fostering a love for Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on young learners.The successful Science Teacher will create an engaging learning environment, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to effective learning.
• Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress.
• Work collaboratively with the department and school staff to enhance teaching strategies.
• Ensure all safeguarding and child protection policies are strictly adhered to.

Required Qualifications for a Science Teacher:

• A recognised teaching qualification in UK (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Specialism in Science with experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new check.
