Job descriptionScience teacher – September – RochdaleAre you a Qualified Science teacher looking for your next opportunity? Do you live in or near to the Rochdale area?Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher of Science at a good school in Rochdale.This role will be a full time position starting in September and will be for the whole of the academic year, till July 2025a permanent role. You will be required to be able to teach science, to key stage 3 & 4 classes of varying academic abilities. Please specify which science is you specialism. The school is an extremely welcoming school where you will feel part of the team from day 1.The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom management. You will need to deliver interesting & engaging lessons to key stage 3 & 4 classes, mark the work and provide feedback regularly. You will also need to attend departmental meetings & attend parents evenings when they arise.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILSLocation RochdalePosition Science TeacherStart date September 2024End date – July 25Duration – 3 termsFull timeMinimum rate of pay £153Hours 8:30am 4:00pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSQTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalentPrevious experience teaching Science in a UK schoolUp to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential)
