SCADA/IT Technician – Taranto (IT)

Regional Support is responsible for overviewing, implementing and implementing SCADA systems. The department collaborates with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED. It provides high global technology in monitoring, control and data acquisition systems for the wind technology which covers and provides any SCADA related support to the Construction and Service Departments

Responsibilities:

• Level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in wind farms
• Platform troubleshooting, server hardware and software
• Provide remote support to service technicians in on site operations
• Provide and keep updated internal ticketing tools
• Technical Documentation

Qualifications:

• Technical education in IT , Electronics or similar
• Experience in server operating systems, Linux and SQL servers
• Experience in VMware
• Knowledge and experience of networking and their configuration.
• PLC programming and communication protocols (IEC,104, IEC101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC) is beneficial
• Comprehensive English skills, both verbal and written
• Valid driver’s license
