As we embark on an exciting Agile transformation journey, they are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to help lead this transition and ensure the successful and timely delivery of new features and services.Role
- Delivery Planning: Develop and manage a comprehensive Feature Delivery Plan to guide features from ideation to deployment
- Agile Transformation Leadership: Drive the transition to an Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), promoting Agile practices across teams in collaboration with Team Leaders
- Dependency Management: Identify and manage inter-team dependencies, ensuring smooth feature delivery
- End-to-End Delivery: Coordinate activities across teams and stakeholders to ensure the on-time delivery of features
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project goals and progress
- Strategic Planning & Risk Management: Implement strategies for feature delivery, monitor risks, and proactively mitigate challenges
- Quality Assurance & Performance Monitoring: Ensure high-quality delivery, tracking performance with tools and providing regular status updates
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team leads to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring optimal team performance
- IT Operations & Continuous Improvement: Oversee operational excellence in systems and infrastructure management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Profile
Education & experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in IT project management, including 3 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong background in leading Agile transformations
- Knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements in the IT or Telco sector, or familiarity with the domain name industry is an asset
- Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum Master (CSM), ITIL, or IT4IT are a plus
Skills & expertise
- Proven track record in managing IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget in a matrix organization
- Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and transitioning teams to Agile SDLC
- Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence for task management and project tracking
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, system integration, and ITIL or IT4IT frameworks
- Familiarity with DNS and internet architecture principles
- Ability to manage IT risks, and identify, assess, and resolve them effectively
