The opportunity

As an Sales & Tenders Associate you will be involved in the following key areas of responsibility;

  1. Manage public tenders files on Z folder and analyze the competition

  2. Support activities that help prospect new biosimilars markets

To be successful in this role you will need a solid grounding in the tender managing business. Next to that you will also need to travel around Belgium in order to collaborate with Sales to visit hospitals to gather valuable information from the hospital pharmacists for prospecting.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Administration: gestion and management of public tenders files on Z folder per product, per package type and per language

  • Management and Optimization of the actual Tender cell is essential to anticipate and influence the qualitative criteria In BeLux and avoid price war and too low discount to compensate points lost in the qualitative part of each public tender (Cf LONQUEX & Tevagrastim experience).

  • Structure of Z folder for all Public tenders & product

  • Administration package and product package information updates in both languages

  • Optimization of each file after a careful analysis of the results obtained after each public tender (won or lost)

  • Analyze the competition offer and files (qualitative part of public tender)

  • KAM activities to prospect new biosimilars markets as follows

  • Optimal management of future Biosimilar portfolio of Teva & adequate prospection ON TIME of the BeLux markets in collaboration with the BUM Onco is key to develop:

  • the best strategy in the future public tender regarding the Biosimilar portfolio

  • the best approach to win these public tenders and to increase revenue (P&L) of the ONCOcare Business Unit.

  • Optimal prospection of new possible markets by contacting hospital pharmacists with the collaboration of Kam North & South (Luxemburg)/ Hospital BUM

  • Contact & visit hospital pharmacists with the actual KAMS/BUM

  • Assist in preparation of Key account Plan with KAM before product launch

  • Assist in preparation of Key success factors per product of future launch

And;

  • Optimal launch preparations and follow-up analysis of the launch versus competition

  • Market access activities in order to optimize the launch of new products from day one with the best S&M backup.

  • Work closely with other departments in order to safeguard an optimal management of the tender business.

  • Fulfill to the increasing amount of future public tenders with our actual portfolio in collaboration with the Hospital BUM

  • Optimize the win and the revenue of all upcoming biosimilars/products in the pipeline which will be part of future public tenders

Your experience and qualifications

  • A degree in sales administration or alternatively a relevant bachelor degree

  • Minimum of five year experience in Pharma Sales

  • Minimum of two year experience in managing tender business

  • Knowledge of the Belgian health care system

  • Good network of contacts in the Belgium Hospital network (hospital pharmacists, Key opinion leaders in several specialties etc.)

  • Native Dutch and French, business knowledge English
