Sales Support Associate

Sales Support Associate (SSA) is a support extension of the Sales and Customer Success team to drive greater efficiency and productivity for the sales organization. The Sales Support Associate will be responsible for maintaining an in-depth understanding of Colt EMEA’s internal quoting systems and processes while acting as the subject matter expert for Sales/CS questions around these processes.

Key accountabilities

-Supporting predominantly pre-sales activities around project quoting, order support & accuracy, and ensuring proper closure of the SFDC opportunity so that the sales recognition can be achieved and executed by the responsible departments for sales recognition. The focus of the role is to limit administrative burden on sellers while enabling sales to focus on customer facing/revenue generating activities.
-Serve as subject matter expert for quote creation and order submission from Sales to Order Entry. Providing guidance to sales team and end-to-end accountability on the Quote to Order process.
-Perform administrative changes to internal quoting systems and assist Sales Team in preparing quotes for bids/RFP’s/RFI’s/RFQ’s.
-Manage and track quotes/orders (in coordination with SE, COG, CSG and other relevant teams) through to order submission into the order entry part of delivery. Highlight any dependencies impacting the delivery process.
-Administrative tasks involve Salesforce management (accuracy and accountability of opportunity value), assisting with meeting Sales Exit Criteria, and managing large data sets for customer quoting/ordering.
-Expedite sales process by facilitating requests with appropriate internal groups, coordinating completion, and ensuring timely responses. PERSUADES

Skills & Experience

-Previous experience in a role that deals with sales and/or customers
-An understanding of networking technologies and products is preferable
-Great written and verbal communications skills
-Good interpersonal and coordination skills
-An ability to influence people at all levels to get what you need for your customers
-A passion for customer experience
-Adaptable to ever changing customer needs
-A role model of Colt’s values
-2-3-year telecom industry experience is preferable
-Microsoft Office
-Advanced level of English (additional languages considered a bonus)
