If so, this job is tailored to you. You will contribute to bringing the shipping industry and ports up to speed with the electrification of port infrastructure. Our solutions help customers decarbonize their operations and partner for a sustainable future. A key focus will be on shore power systems, enabling vessels to receive sustainable power from shore, thus reducing emissions significantly. Additionally, you will explore opportunities within port electrical infrastructure, service, digital, and automation to support emission-free port operations. Your focus is to be close to our customers and to know the competitive landscape. As such, you must be able to build networks with key decision makers and demonstrate relevant senior sales experience – understand and communicate how our solutions contribute to the business of our customers. You don’t have to be an electrical specialist, but you should understand the generic landscape of our customers and know when to bring in your product specialist colleagues during the sales process. You will be covering the market of Denmark, Germany, Iceland Faroe Island and Greenland. The market is developing rapidly and competition is high. Subsequently, you must be capable of positioning ABB as the preferred supplier of advanced and integrated services. The decarbonization agenda is a high priority for our customers as a means of complying with future environmental regulations. In this role you will: • Generate leads in landside shore power projects within Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Faroe Island and Greenland. • Lead the bid team in selected tenders and feasibility studies, preparing customer business cases. • Promote ABB solutions in customer meetings and events to improve customer loyalty. • Drive the decarbonization business in close collaboration with local business lines (LBLs) and execution units. • Provide input to Product Management and R&D and manage consistent costing and pricing of projects. • Build product and market knowledge, networks with key decision makers, and support sales across the general product portfolio, with a key focus on shore power solutions. • Book and conduct meetings for in-depth solution sales and consulting, negotiate and close deals, analyze and identify market opportunities.Qualifications for the role

  • Experience in sales of port services or electrification solutions to large organizations, including some years of experience with relevant B2B project sales.
  • Good technical understanding of electrical systems. Holistic understanding of decarbonization and maritime regulations.
  • Ability to collaborate within a matrix organization. Proven experience in maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Commercial and customer-focused mindset. Skilled in building customer relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales processes with high-level stakeholders. This could come from a background in sales, project management, or product management.
  • Analytical and structured work approach. Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
