Introduction We are looking for a Sales Operation Specialist in our Eindhoven office. In this role your main responsibility is to drive sales process improvement and the adoption of globally defined sales operation procedures. Driving and coordinating these activities across our Bike Retail Sales teams, you interact closely with colleagues from both Shimano Europe and our Local Sales Offices.Account or sales management is knowledge you bring from previous working experience. Together with our Salesforce CRM team bringing system, tools and business together towards symbiosis. You can easily adapt to new and challenging situations, but relying on your methodical way of working you are able to convince and enthuse stakeholders with your ideas and solutions.With our current team we can enable and drive improvement and optimization of the end-to-end sales processes across offices by offering and harmonizing tools, processes and solutions in order to grow sales and increase efficiency. Shimano Europe continues to grow, which leads to a variety of projects and initiatives that are in need of (y)our expertise and support.You will be joining the Sales Operations team, which is part of the European Commercial and report to the Manager Sales Operations. The team is supportive, approachable, humoristic, flexible, and sporty. We work hard to deliver but we know how to have fun and relax along with a lot of team building activities such as going for lunch walks, social rides after work and joining Shimano supported events, like the Amstel Gold Race. If this interests you, we look forward to having you.The ChallengeCreation and deployment of sales and account management processes across our EU Retail marketsProvide assistance with requests, training and onboarding new sales and refresher training for sales team membersAlign cross-functional departments and ensure they are engaged in the sales motionsCoordinate with cross-functional departments to deploy sales actions, and follow up to ensure delivery of the aligned actionsResearch and translate Sales and Account Management concepts, combine with practical input and translate to operations in laymen’s terms to the Local Sales OfficeEnsure alignment with cross-functional departments on key initiatives before rolling-out to our markets.Collaborate closely with the Sales Business Analyst to document requirements to develop (new) systems and automation of processesWhat are we looking for?Finished Bachelor or (preferably) a Master degree in relevant discipline.4-6 years of experience in Sales or similar Operational Support roleA comprehensive understanding of business and operating models in B2B retail environments (inside experience from Bike or Fishing tackle industry is a pre)Understanding of and experience with (Salesforce) CRM, ERP and account managementEffective stakeholder management and influencing skillsStrong communicator with advanced communication skills in English that result in effective delivery of key messages for an international audienceYou should be self-motivated with excellent organizational and planning abilityStrong analytical ability to identify root causes in methodical wayYou should be proactive and have an enthusiastic approach to work.The role starts with a fixed term contract for 18 monthsWhat do we have to offer?Shimano and its subsidiaries offer a pleasant, informal working environment with colleagues who work well together, and are proud to work for Shimano.
