Are you a process-driven professional with a hunger to improve the status quo?Expedia Partner Solutions’ global sales operations team is looking for a Sales Operations Manager who will drive the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales teams through close collaboration with various functions to review, improve and implement our sales processes.What you’ll do:Own the sales process component (‘the what’) of the Sales Blueprint by:Reviewing the sales cycle and process – does it reflect the needs of the organization and put our partners at the centre of our decision-making?Establishing what can be improved and working closely with key stakeholders to enable changes in our sales process, especially with the Salesforce.com product and technology team to ensure the system is alignedStreamlining the sales process by proactively proposing new processes, prioritizing automation and sharing best practicesFlagging problem areas and recommend next steps so sales teams can be more efficientAnalysing data and using key metrics as well as stakeholder feedback to measure effectiveness and uncover areas for improvement of the sales process.Driving adoption and compliance of the concepts defined in BlueprintImplementing a regular and ongoing cycle of updating the blueprint sales process based on business changes, insights, and feedback to ensure the blueprint remains relevant in our fast-growing businessUpdating documentation and driving communication of changes on a regular cadenceMaintaining and supporting the process for the termination of our lowest tier of unmanaged accountsMaintaining and supporting sales compliance initiativesReviewing and establishing the documentation and implementation of sales process exceptionsSupporting ad-hoc initiatives as requiredWho you are:Prior experience in sales operations and process improvement in a B2B organization and/or travel industry (Six Sigma certification or any other process certification is a plus)Robust understanding of Salesforce.com and how it can enable and add value to the sales cycle (Salesforce certifications are a plus)Ability to think like a salesperson and understand the B2B sales process and the opportunities and challenges surrounding itStrong ability to simplify complex operations and data and effectively communicate this to leaders across all levels of our organizationKnowledge of how to develop project plans, define timeframe and prioritize tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives.Knowledge to identify the type of resources required to support a project and make recommendations for specific people, technology, partners, etc.Drive to monitor progress to meet project milestones, timelines, specifications, and requirements.Drive to develop high-standard goals, ideas, and initiatives and derive satisfaction from executing themAbility to influence and build consensus among internal teamsHighly collaborative spirit and able to work across many functions and build rapport quicklyDesire to both see and execute the bigger picture and get into the details of required activitiesExperience working in a large matrix organization with a fast pace of workAbility to manage complexity and competing prioritiesHigh energy and results-focused (short-term and long-term vision)Accommodation requestsIf you need assistance with any part of the application or recruiting process due to a disability, or other physical or mental health conditions, please reach out to our Recruiting Accommodations Team through the .We are proud to be named as a Best Place to Work on Glassdoor in 2024 and be recognized for award-winning culture by organizations like Forbes, TIME, Disability:IN, and others.Expedia Group’s family of brands includes: Brand Expedia®, Hotels.com®, Expedia® Partner Solutions, Vrbo®, trivago®, Orbitz®, Travelocity®, Hotwire®, Wotif®, ebookers®, CheapTickets®, Expedia Group™ Media Solutions, Expedia Local Expert®, CarRentals.com™, and Expedia Cruises™. © 2024 Expedia, Inc.
