As a Sales Manager, you will lead a high-performing sales organization, formulate strategies, and make a significant impact on our success in Denmark. If you’re a motivated leader with a passion for building relationships and achieving results, we want to hear from you!Objectives of the position
  • Plan, develop, and direct all aspects of the Sales Organization to meet established sales targets and objectives in collaboration with the Nordics Surgery team.
  • Formulate and communicate strategic and tactical plans for the sales team, ensuring alignment with Denmark, Nordic, and EMEA direction.
  • Ensure effective execution of policies and plans to drive business growth and achieve both long-term and short-term objectives.

Key Tasks:

  • Take responsibility for sales and operational expenditure (OPEX) for the business.
  • Deliver the sales and marketing strategy, ensuring profitable growth that exceeds market competition, in alignment with the Danish and Nordic strategy.
  • Coach, equip, and motivate the sales team, through rigorous training, process organization, and personal development initiatives.
  • Build a high-caliber candidate pipeline and continuously develop the Sales Team.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and opinion leaders.
  • Represent the company at both country and Nordic levels, engaging with the market and the Nordic Leadership Team.
  • Conduct all business activities in compliance with ethical and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • University degree (required).
  • Proven success in sales/sales management within the field of surgery (required).
  • Minimum of three years of leadership experience with a proven track record of success (required)
  • Fully bilingual in English and Danish (required)
  • Clinical knowledge of laparoscopic surgery, stapling, and energy devices (preferred).
  • Extensive experience in the healthcare sector (preferred).
  • Experience working with regional and national government officials (such as purchasers and politicians) (preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of the medtech environment (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel 40% of the time.
