Job description
Primary Function:
- Responsible for driving target growth in Italy: Revenue-Margin-Operating income
- Responsible for managing all the local functions; Sales, Marketing, Service, Administration, HR
- Responsible to ensure the proper alignment with U.K. Headquarter
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage the Sales Team through setting targets and maintaining track of individual performances
- Define Rental-Sales strategies and tactics at Country, region and local levels
- Regularly visit accounts to coach sales team members and make sure of the proper alignments
- Identify Revenue opportunities in new areas and accounts
- Define Marketing plan focused on positioning the company and the products at the needed level
- Define pricing strategy focusing leveraging on our high value-added offering
- Define product strategies in alignment with Headquarter
- Provide central marketing with information related to competitor’s products and strategies
- Monitor performance of the service function and align the service strategy with the sales one
- Manage the P&L (on a monthly basis) to monitor trends in line with plans, identify opportunities and threats
- Monitor the performances of each member of the staff, implement individual development plan
- Provide to the headquarter with all the necessary information, connect with the relevant Headquarter staff as needed

- Education and Knowledge
- University degree desirable, business economics preferable
- Strong understanding of the Italian Healthcare market
- Knowledge of the direct and indirect sales channels
- Fluent in English
- Clinical experience desirable but not essential
- Experience
- At least 10 years’ Sales experience in the biomedical sector with direct and indirect sales channels.
- Proven ability to grow in new market areas and build business from scratch
- Knowledge of the Rental business model is desirable
- Experience in using CRM tools to manage sales process and forecasts
- Proven experience in promoting and selling high added-value products and services
- Proven solid experience in managing teams
