The Sales Manager Municipal Germany North is responsible for driving the activities in the municipal field in the western and northern Region of Germany.

This position is part of the German Municipal Leadership Team and will be working from Home-Office and customer side (on the road). Due to the area the candidate needs to be living (or willing to relocate) to the sales area.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of the assigned employees ( 7 sales representatives ).

  • Planning, achieving and exceeding the set sales targets

  • Acquiring new customers, building strategic new business and securing existing customers.

  • Up-selling and penetrating existing business with software and system solutions in cooperation with the Solution Team.

  • Create and monitor KPIs to achieve team goals and ensure quality of work.

  • Ensure a positive, challenging work environment that recognizes good performance and addresses improvement needs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Solid, progressive sales experience and water industry knowledge

  • Process orientation with a proven track record of profitable growth.

  • Strategic ability to analyze markets and competitive companies while developing and executing successful sales strategies with the team

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

  • Very good English skills, fluent in German
