Sales Manager BeLuxWho is Moteo Two Wheels Europe?Moteo Two Wheels Europe is an independent distributor of motorcycles and scooters with operations in several European countries.Being a business unit of the Alcopa Group, we are very proud that the history of our group in fact started with two-wheelers. In the 30s, our founder started up both production and distribution of iconic two-wheelers such as BSA, Zundapp, Calthorp and other brands. A next milestone was reached in 1958, when we signed a cooperation agreement with Suzuki for the distribution of motorcycles, thereby becoming Suzuki’s first European distributor. Historical!Today, almost 90 years later, Moteo Two Wheels is the reference in Europe for motorized two-wheelers. Since 1980, we have expanded our scope to France, Switzerland, Portugal and the Netherlands, where we are still active today.Because of the diversified brand portfolio, we cover just about all major motorcycle and scooter segments. Our approach is one of confidence and experience; trust between Moteo Two Wheels and the manufacturers that we represent and experience towards our end customer.Who are we looking for?The purpose of this position is to further strengthen the different brands and manage the different products of these brands in the local market and to ensure a profitable growth of this activity.
Within the scope of the position, the Sales Manager is directly responsible for and in charge of full commercial activity in the market.
The Sales Manager is responsible for his/her team of sales representatives as well for the results as for the people management. The Sales Manager reports to and works close together with the Country Manager.Main tasks and responsibilities:Strengthen brand awareness, further develop the network, ensure network efficiency and maximize performance of the dealer network;Define the commercial strategy and manage the according budgets. Responsible for the turnover, margins and volumes realized, as well as customer satisfaction in his markets. All of this in close cooperation with the Country Manager;

Development of a dealer network to ensure optimal coverage of the market. Defining and negotiating margin structures for dealers are in scope, as is the performance management of the dealers;Create and deliver reports and basic data used for both internal and external reporting/controlling;Build up significant level of market understanding/intelligence;Responsible to build, coach and manage his/hers team;Ensure that the sales department works cross functionally with executives from other departments;Product management: gather all product related specifications and market information for the different brands and propose the best possible product variants.
