The company serves various markets like legal, risk, compliance, accounting, finance, etc.The role:

  • As a Sales Manager, your primary objective is to achieve sales targets aligned with our goals.
  • You’ll lead a dynamic team comprising Inside Sales, Field Sales, and Large Account Managers. Your responsibilities include driving new sales opportunities, nurturing existing client-relationships, and ensuring your team’s success through focused management of key performance indicators. Providing mentorship and coaching to Sales Representatives is crucial.
  • In today’s “modern” selling landscape, fostering a strong, collaborative culture is key.
  • You’ll be instrumental in sustaining this environment, not just within your team, but across the company by collaborating with Sales Leaders throughout Europe.
  • This role involves inspiring and engaging the sales team and promoting synergy with other departments like Marketing, Product, Sales, Solution Consultants, Customer Success, and Sales Support, all integral to our go-to-market strategy.
  • Additionally, you will be expected to implement a structured approach for managing sales KPIs, utilizing global tools such as Salesforce to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our sales processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales process to achieve target sales intake as per strategic and budget plans.
  • Lead a cultural change towards a result-driven organization
  • Plan and organize work effectively, guiding Sales Representatives towards success.
  • Lead and develop Sales Reps to fulfill their objectives and grow in their roles.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to understand market dynamics and aid sales strategies.
  • Undertake and consistently qualify sales prospecting efforts.
  • Accurately follow-up on deal information in the CRM system
  • Lead various initiatives and propose innovative ideas.
  • Understand client motivations for software investment and internal budget competition.
  • Play a vital role in Large Account Management and follow up on crucial deals within this segment.

Requirements:Competencies

  • Able to quickly identify relevant business challenges and effectively position solutions
  • Expertise in connecting business needs to value proposition
  • Good understanding of general technical concepts (e.g., Cloud, API, etc.)
  • Strong organizer of own work and that of the Sales Team
  • Able to speak with different levels of the company (from secretary to CEO)
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Natural empathy, using this to your advantage in sales cycles and in interaction with colleagues, national and international
  • High self-confidence since you are an example for others and know how to combine this with a serving and positive attitude and a drive to help others succeed
  • Show a high level of energy, combined with a strong desire to learn
  • Able to perform under pressure, and show a consistent high level of quality of work
  • Confident and able to guide and coach others

Experience:

  • 5 years as a Sales Lead, managing Sales Reps
  • Before that, 8-10 years as a Field Sales Executive (ideally in sales software solutions)
  • Knowledge of the legal sector is a real advantage.
  • Fluent in French, both written and spoken
  • Education equivalent to University Degree level
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Power Point and Excel
