Your new role & responsibilitiesOn a high level, you will be responsible for sales leadership for the TASKI division in Benelux. That encompasses everything from financial management, pricing and gross margin optimization, ensuring customer profitability and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy. Additionally, you will be leading, motivating and developing a high-performance sales- and engineering team, ensuring compliance and corporate standards are met but also develop and implement a service offering in collaboration with global leadership.The role is relatively new to our organization, which means there will be a lot of ‘building’ to do. As we only merged with Solenis last year, our organization is in an era of change. To a certain degree, we always have and will be an organization that keeps changing, evolving, growing – so as a change averse person you will not be in the right place in our organization. But, in the now, it might be a little bit extra. We expect the person taking on this role to be able to provide stewardship, to provide guidance, vision but also to be able to work hands-on and stand with your feet in the dirt. The role has everything in it from developing and fostering a strategic vision to working directly in the field with our clients.More specific examples of your day-to-day job are:
- Financial management – Develop and execute financial strategies, manage P&L for Benelux operations, implement cost-control measures, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Pricing and gross margin optimization – You will analyze market trends, and our competitive landscape to develop successful pricing strategies together with the global pricing team.
- Customer profitability – Analyze customer profitability and implement overall customer value. Implement customer segmentation strategies for targeted marketing and sales efforts. Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Sales leadership – Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing business plans and strategy for the Benelux. Build and nurture relationships with key customers, distributors and strategic partners. Of course, always keeping your eyes open for new business opportunities to expand our market share.
- Service offering – Develop and implement a comprehensive service offering and deploy technical service support effectively to support revenue growth of service.
- Team Management – Lead, coach, motivate and develop a high-performance sales and engineering team. You will be working with Salesforce.com to track, analyze and improve team sales performance and collaborate with colleagues from different departments to optimize coordination between sales and technical support functions.
- Compliance and corporate standards – Ensure adherence to corporate standards, policies and ethical business practices, and collaborate with internal teams to address issues if they arise.
Overall, the main goal is to achieve (higher) revenue, achieve profitability targets such as maximizing revenue and gross margins. Additionally, your focus will be on enhancing overall customer value.The role may include you presenting to large groups of people and leading (parts of) global projects. You will have a close collaboration with the global TASKI leadership team, finance, and human resources to design and implement the strategies you will develop.Our ideal TASKI sales leaderWe know unicorns don’t exist, but we do have some things on our wish list. You’re a self-driven and social professional. A sales-guru with key leadership strengths – you have been a key account/sales manager in the field for several years and now you feel ready for the next step – whether it is a lateral move or a step up – we’d love to learn more about your motivation. For this role, it is crucial that you have people/sales management experience, and have dealt with establishing budgets, targets, goals and business plans with your team but also don’t shy away from the hands-on client management part as you will not only be acting as a strategic leader.We’re asking for:
- Work experience in a (ideally similar size) B2B organization in a sales setting, and already have a strong network in the Benelux.
- Working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is common practice for you.
- You have a good feeling for technology – and you are curious to learn more about our solutions.
- You are eligible to work in Belgium or The Netherlands, and you’re fluent in Dutch and English, if you’re also fluent in French, that is an added benefit. We strongly prefer someone who already lives and works in this market, as it helps you know the region, cultures etc.
- Experience with TASKI or a competitor is considered a plus.
